34By rite, by sacrifice, by giving, by austerity, by study and by turning things over, by the conquest of the self and the senses too, and by the laying down of acts, 35by yoga with its various limbs, and by the yoga of devotion as well, and by a dharma marked both ways, which has its going out and its turning back, 36by waking up to what the self is, and by a detachment that holds firm: by all of these the Bhagavan is come at, with the strands and beyond them, who sees by his own light. 37I have spoken to you of the fourfold nature of the yoga of devotion, and of time, whose going nobody sees, which runs on hidden inside living things.
38And of the many rounds of birth of the living one, made by ignorance and by act, dear one, entering which the self does not know which way it is going.
