Sraddha, Angiras's wife, bore four daughters: Sinivali, Kuhu, Raka, and Anumati as the fourth. And two other sons of his were well known in the age of Svarocisa: the revered Utathya himself, and Brhaspati, who was deep in Brahman. Pulastya begot Agastya on his wife Havirbhu, and he in another birth was the fire that digests within the body; and Visravas too, of great austerity. His son by Idavida was the god Kubera, lord of the yaksas; and by another wife, Ravana and Kumbhakarna, and Vibhisana as well. Gati, Pulaha's wife, a true woman, bore three sons: Karmasrestha, Variyas and Sahisnu, great-minded one. And Kriya, Kratu's wife, brought forth the Valakhilyas, sixty thousand seers blazing with the light of Brahman.
