31Hold your anger back, king, and good come to you: it stands against everything that is good for you. Treat it with much hearing, as a sickness is treated with medicine. 32The world shrinks badly from a man whom anger has taken hold of. One who understands, wanting to be free of fear himself, does not come under its power. 33You have slighted the giver of wealth, the brother of the mountain-dweller, in striking down the yaksas out of impatience, calling them your brother's killers. 34Make him kind to you again quickly, my boy, by bowing and by speaking humbly, before the heat of the great falls on our house. 35So Manu, son of the self-born, taught his grandson Dhruva; and honoured by him, he went back with the sages to his own city.
