30Such was the power of Prthu, most like the Bhagavan. I have told you the doings of one whose doings knew no bound. 31Whoever reads this, which carries great merit, attentively and with trust, or has it read aloud, or hears it, will come to Prthu's road. 32A brahmin who reads it will have the brilliance of Brahman; a kshatriya will be lord of the earth; a merchant will be head of his people; a servant will come to the state of the best. 33A man or a woman who listens to this three times with respect, being childless, will be richest in children, and being poor, richest in wealth. 34One whose name is nowhere heard will have good fame, and a fool will become learned. This is a way to safety for men and a turning aside of what is inauspicious.
35It brings good fortune and fame and long life and heaven, and takes off the stain of the Kali age. Those who want the four ends fully gained, dharma and wealth and desire and release, should have it heard with trust: it is the highest cause of all four.
