58So may we have the company of men whose wrong has been shaken off by bathing within and without in your fame, which is a ford, you whose foot is without fault; men whose nature is pity for living things and a settled clarity. That would be your kindness to us. 59The sage whose thought is clean, having gone neither into the wandering after outward things nor into the cave of darkness, and which the yoga of devotion to you has favoured, sees your course there directly. 60That in which this world is made plain, and which shines within the world: that are you, Brahman, the highest light, spread out like space. 61You brought this forth by a maya of many shapes, and hold it, and wear it away again, unchanged yourself. Though the thought of difference looks real to a self ill at ease, we know you, Bhagavan, to stand on nothing but yourself.
62It is this very one that men of yoga, filled with trust, worship well with their rounds of rites for attainment, marked out by the elements and the senses and the inner organ; and those men know both the Veda and the tantra. 63You alone are the first Person, whose power sleeps; by that power passion and clarity and darkness are set apart, and out of it come the great principle, and the I-maker, and space, wind, fire, water, earth, the gods, the sages and the hosts of beings: all this. 64Having brought this forth by your own power, you entered the fourfold city with a portion of yourself; and so they know you for the Person within, who with the senses eats the honey the bees have made.
