¹Guarded by that knowledge, the thousand-eyed beat the enemy soldiers and their mounts as though he were at play, and enjoyed the wealth of the three worlds. ²Revered one, tell me that armour whose substance is Narayana, by which he was guarded and beat in battle the enemies who came with their weapons raised. ³The chosen priest, Tvastr's son, told great Indra, who asked after it, the armour that is called Narayana's.
