Whatever fear has come to us from planets and comets, and from men as well, from creeping things and fanged beasts, from spirits, and from our own wrongs: let all of these go quickly to their end by the constant praising aloud of the Bhagavan's name and form, everything that stands against our good. Let the revered Garuda, the master, who is the refrain of the hymn and made of the metres, and let Visvaksena by his own names, guard us from every hardship. From all disasters, let Hari's names and forms and carriers and weapons, which are the ornaments of his companions, guard our thought, our senses, our mind and our breath.

Since the Bhagavan alone is, in truth, whatever is and whatever is not: by this truth may everything that troubles us come to nothing. Since he who is himself without any division holds, by a power of his own, those powers that are named his ornaments and weapons and marks, for those who feel the oneness of it all: by that same truth may the all-knowing Bhagavan Hari, who is everywhere, guard us always and in every place with all his own forms.
