The Endless had gone from sight; and bowing toward that quarter, Citraketu the vidyadhara went on his way, moving through the sky. For a hundred thousand times a hundred thousand years, his strength and his senses unchecked, the great yogin was praised by the sages and by the siddhas and caranas. In the valleys of the king of mountains, where every sort of wish comes true, he took his pleasure with the vidyadhara women, having them sing of Hari, the Lord. One day, going in the shining sky-chariot that Visnu had given him, he saw the lord of the mountain with siddhas and caranas around him, holding the goddess in his arm and on his lap in the gathering of sages. He spoke, with the goddess listening, and laughed out loud in front of them.
