33When he had said this the boy fell silent, and Hiranyakasipu, blinded in himself by rage, threw his son from his lap to the ground. 34Seized by fury and rage, his eyes gone red, he said: Let him be killed at once. He deserves killing. Take him out of here, Nairrtas. 35This one is the killer of my brother. This one, the lowest of men, has left his own people, and honours like a slave the feet of Visnu, who killed his uncle. 36And what good will he do even for Visnu, being of no use to anyone, when at five years old he has let go of the love of his parents, which is hard to let go of? 37An outsider who does good is a child of one's own, as medicine is; a son born of one's own body who does harm is a disease. A limb that harms the self should be cut off, and by the cutting away of it the rest lives happily.
38An enemy who wears the marks of a friend is to be killed by every means there is, by eating with him, by his bed, by his seat, as a sage kills a sense of his that has gone bad.
