Verse 50

⁴⁸You are greatly favoured in the world of men: the sages who make the world clean come to you, into whose houses the highest Brahman lives in his own person, hidden and wearing the mark of a man. ⁴⁹This one is that Brahman, whom the great search for, the tasting of the joy of aloneness and of going out. He is your dear one, your friend, your mother's brother's son; he is your self, to be honoured; he does what you bid, and he is your teacher. ⁵⁰Bhava and the lotus-born one and the rest have not, before his face, told out his form with their thought as it truly is. May he, the lord of the Satvatas, be pleased, who is worshipped by silence, by devotion, by stillness.
