43Let him offer the making of distinctions into the thinking mind, and that into the mind that strays among things; and having offered the mind into what change has made, let him offer that into maya. 44The sage who sees what is true should offer that maya into the knowing of the self. Then, striving no more, he comes to rest, standing in the self by what he has known there. 45So I have told you how I live, well hidden though it is, a thing set apart from the world and from the books; for you hold the Bhagavan highest. 46Having heard from the sage the way of the highest swans, the lord of the demons honoured him, and then, glad, took his leave and went home.
