27Now I will tell you the places that bring dharma and the other good things. That place is holiest of all where one who is fit to receive can be found. 28Where there is an image of the Bhagavan, in whom is all this that moves and does not move; and where there is a family of brahmins with austerity, learning and mercy in them; 29wherever the worship of Hari is done, that place is a seat of good things; and where there are rivers such as the Ganga, spoken of in the old tellings; 30lakes such as Puskara, and grounds where worthy men have settled; Kuruksetra, the head of Gaya, Prayaga, the hermitage of Pulaha; 31Naimisa, the Phalguna, the causeway, Prabhasa and Kusasthali; Varanasi, Madhupuri, Pampa and the lake of Bindu;
32the hermitage of Narayana, the Nanda, the hermitages of Sita and Rama and the rest; and all the great mountains, king, Mahendra and Malaya and the others. 33These are the holiest places, and so are those where an image of Hari is kept. A man who wants what is good should go to them again and again; dharma done there bears a thousand times the fruit.
