Hidden in the kindling of the strands· Verses 15–18

Salutation, salutation to you, cause of everything, yourself without a cause, a cause past wonder; great ocean of all the scriptures and of what has come down in them. Salutation to release, the last resort of all. To him whose heat of awareness lies hidden in the kindling wood of the strands, whose mind breaks out into flame when they are shaken, who shines of himself, reached past the scriptures by the state where works have ceased: I make my salutation. To the loosener of the rope on a tethered beast like me, who has come for refuge; free himself, of great pity, who does not pass away: salutation. To him who by a portion of himself is met in the mind of everything that carries a body, as the sight turned inward, the Bhagavan, the vast: salutation to you.

Hard to reach for those held fast by body and children and friends and house and wealth and people; free of all clinging to the strands; turned over in the heart by those whose selves are loosed; whose nature is knowledge: salutation to the Bhagavan, the Lord.
