22Throw into the ocean of milk all the creepers and grasses and vines and herbs; make Mandara the churning stick and Vasuki the churning cord; 23and with me to help you, gods, churn and do not slacken. The Daityas will have the trouble of it, and you will take the fruit. 24Agree, gods, to whatever the antigods want. Not by fury but by soothing are all ends gained. 25Do not be afraid of the Kalakuta poison that will rise from the sea; and let there be no greed in you at any time, and no anger, and no desire, over the things that come up. 26Having laid this on the gods, the Bhagavan, the best of Persons, the Lord, whose going is by his own will, vanished from them, king.
