Verse 18

¹⁸Asked in this way by Aditi, Kasyapa said to her, smiling a little: How great the power of Visnu's maya is, that this world is bound fast by affection. ¹⁹Where is the body, made of the elements and not the self, and where is the self, which is beyond nature? Whose are these, husband and sons and the rest? Delusion alone is the cause. ²⁰Wait upon the Person, the Bhagavan, Janardana, who lives in the cave of every being: Vasudeva, the teacher of the world. ²¹He, Hari, who takes pity on the wretched, will grant what you want. Devotion to the Bhagavan does not go for nothing, and nothing else is sure. That is what I hold.
