Salutation to you, the Bhagavan, the Person, the greatest, the dwelling place of all beings, Vasudeva, the witness. Salutation to the unmanifest, the subtle, to the ground and to the Person, who knows the four and twenty and is the cause of the counting of the strands. Salutation to him of two heads, three feet, four horns, who is the thread; salutation to the sacrifice of seven hands, whose self is the knowledge of the three. Salutation to the kindly one, to Rudra, and salutation to him who holds the power; salutation to the master of all knowledge, to the lord of beings. Salutation to the golden womb, to the breath, to the self of the world; salutation to you, whose body is the mastery of yoga, the cause of yoga.

Salutation to you, the first of the gods; salutation to you, who have become the witness; salutation to Narayana the sage, to Nara, to Hari. Salutation to him whose body is dark as emerald, who has fortune with him; salutation to you, Kesava; salutation to you, wearer of the yellow cloth. You give men every boon, you who are to be chosen, bull among the givers of boons. So for their own good the steady wait upon the dust of your feet. He whom the gods followed after, and Sri with them, as though longing for the sweetness at his lotus feet: may the Bhagavan be gracious to me.
