Praised in this way by Aditi, king, the Bhagavan of lotus eyes, who knows the field in every being, said this, descendant of Bharata. Bhagavan said: Mother of the gods, I know what you have wanted for so long, seeing that your sons' fortune is taken by their rivals and they are thrown down from their own home. You want your sons, having beaten in battle those bulls among the demons drunk with their own pride, and having won back the fortune of victory, to wait upon you. You want to come and see the women of the enemies killed in battle by your own sons, with Indra at their head, weeping and stricken. You want to see your own sons grown rich again, their fame and their fortune brought back to them, settled on the height of heaven and playing there.
