23Nabhaga, another son of Dista, came by his work into the state of a vaisya. His son was Bhalandana, and from Bhalandana, Vatsapriti. 24Vatsapriti's son was Pramsu, and they know his son as Pramati. From Pramati came Khanitra, from him Caksusa, and then Vivimsati. 25Vivimsati's son was Rambha, and his was Khaninetra, a man of dharma. His son, great king, was Karandhama, king. 26His son was Aviksit, and Aviksit's son Marutta became an emperor. It was Samvarta, the great yogin, son of Angiras, who had him perform the sacrifice. 27No other sacrifice is like the sacrifice of Marutta. Everything in it was made of gold, and whatever it had that was splendid.
28Indra grew drunk on the soma and the twice-born on the fees; the Maruts served the food, and the All-gods sat in the assembly.
