12As the king praised it in this way, Visnu's disc Sudarsana, which was burning the brahmin on every side, grew quiet at the king's asking. 13Freed from the burning of the weapon's fire, Durvasas was safe then, and he praised that lord of the wide earth, laying the highest blessings on him. 14Ah, today I have seen how great the servants of the Endless are: that though I am the one who did wrong, king, you set about what is auspicious for me. 15What is hard for the good to do, or hard for great souls to give up, when they have taken hold of the Bhagavan, Hari, the bull of the Satvatas? 16When a man is made spotless by the mere hearing of his name, what can be left over still for the servants of him whose feet are the holy fords?
17King, I have been favoured by you, whose nature is very kind: you put my wrongdoing behind you, and by that my life has been guarded.
