6He honoured the man and shared the food out to him, full of trust, seeing Hari everywhere. The brahmin ate and went on his way. 7Then, as the king was about to eat what was left after that sharing, another came; and remembering Hari he shared out that share to him, a man of low birth. 8When the low-born man had gone, another guest came to him, ringed about with dogs. King, let food be given to me and my company, for we are hungry. 9He, the mighty one, honoured what remained, set great regard before it, gave that too away, and bowed down to the dogs and to their master. 10Only water was left over, and no more of it than would satisfy one man. As he was about to drink, an outcaste came up: give me water, unclean as I am.
