26On Gandhari, king, a hundred sons were born to Dhrtarastra. Duryodhana was the eldest among them, and there was a daughter too, Duhsala. 27Pandu was shut off from coupling by a curse; so on Kunti, from Dharma and the Wind and Indra, three great chariot-fighters were born, Yudhisthira and the others. 28Nakula and Sahadeva were born on Madri from the two Asvins. On Draupadi, from the five, five sons were born; and they were your fathers' kin. 29From Yudhisthira, Prativindhya; from Wolf-belly, Srutasena; from Arjuna, Srutakirti; and Satanika was Nakula's. 30Sahadeva's son, king, was Srutakarman. There were others besides: from Yudhisthira, on Pauravi, Devaka; then Ghatotkaca
31from Bhimasena on Hidimba, and after him Sarvagata on Kali. Vijaya, a mountain king's daughter, bore Suhotra to Sahadeva. 32Nakula had Naramitra on Karenumati, and Arjuna had Iravan on Ulupi, and Babhruvahana on the daughter of the lord of Manipura. Though he was Arjuna's son, he counted as the son of a daughter appointed to bear for her father.
