¹⁴Hearing this good word, joy of Bhrgu, the revered son of Vyasa, first among the Lord's own, honoured Visnurata in return and set about telling the story of Krsna, which destroys the stain of the Kali age. ¹⁵Your understanding is rightly settled, best of royal sages, in that a love has been born in you for the story of Vasudeva that will not be shaken. ¹⁶A question about the story of Vasudeva purifies three, as the water of his feet does: the one who speaks, the one who asks, and those who hear.
