Verse 20

¹⁷Long ago, lord of the camp, when there was no king, good people harassed by robbers were guarded by him, and they prospered and beat the robbers. ¹⁸Those men, greatly favoured, who make their love for this one, are not overcome by enemies, as those on Visnu's side are not overcome by demons. ¹⁹So, Nanda, this son of yours is the equal of Narayana in his qualities, in his splendour, in his fame and in his power. Guard him with all your attention. ²⁰Having told him so what the child was, when Garga had gone to his own house, Nanda was delighted and thought himself full of blessings.
