To make good the word of that sage, who is first among the Lord's own, Hari went slowly to the place where the twin arjunas stood. The divine sage is dearest to me, and these are the sons of the giver of wealth: so I will bring it about just as that great soul sang it. Saying this, Krsna went between the two twin trees; and simply by his passing in there the mortar was turned crosswise behind him. The child dragged the mortar after him, and by the force of the one with the rope at his belly the hold of their roots was torn out. Down they came, their trunks and shoots and branches shaking hard at that great pull, and made a terrible noise.

Out of them two perfected beings came forward, blazing with the highest splendour and lighting up the quarters, as fire comes out of two sticks of wood. Free of dust now, they bowed their heads to Krsna, lord of all the worlds, and with joined hands they said this.
