24Then the cows came quickly to the pens and called their own to them with their lowing, and gave their young calves the milk to drink, licking them again and again while it ran from the udders. 25The motherhood of the cows and the cowherd women towards him was in every way as it had been, except that the love had grown; and in them, as before, Hari's being their child was without any maya. 26Day after day for a year the creeper of love in the people of Vraja for their own children grew slowly and past all bound, as it had for Krsna, and as it never had before. 27So the self, by himself, guarding himself under the look of a calf-herd, was a calf-herd, and played for a year in the wood and in the cattle pens.
