Verse 28

²⁴The Bhagavan knew what those who had held the vow had set their hearts on, which was to touch his feet, and Damodara said to the girls: ²⁵Good women, I know what you have set your hearts on: it is worship of me. I allow it, and it deserves to come true. ²⁶In those whose minds are set on me, desire does not go on to more desire, as grain that has been roasted or boiled will not usually work as seed. ²⁷Go to Vraja, girls; you have what you wanted. You will spend these nights with me, and it was for that, true as you are, that you kept this vow of worshipping the noble goddess. ²⁸Told this by the Bhagavan, the girls, having got what they wanted, went back into Vraja with difficulty, holding his lotus feet in their minds.
