10Homage to you, the Bhagavan, the Person, the great Self. Homage to Vasudeva, to Krsna, the lord of the Satvatas. 11To him who takes a body at his own pleasure, whose form is knowledge made pure, who is everything, the seed of everything, the self of every being: homage. 12Bhagavan, when my sacrifice was stopped, I in my conceit and my sharp anger set all this on foot, with cloudbursts and winds, to destroy the cow-station. 13Lord, you have been kind to me: my stiffness is broken and my effort came to nothing. I have come for refuge to you, who are the Lord, the teacher, and the self.
