30A breach of dharma is seen among the mighty, and rash deeds too. In those whose fire is great it is no fault, as it is none in fire, which eats everything. 31One who is not lord should never do this, not once, not even in his mind. Doing it in folly he is destroyed, as one who is not Rudra would be by the poison born of the ocean. 32The word of the mighty is true, and at times what they do is true as well. Let a man of sense do that of theirs which agrees with their own word. 33There is nothing here for them to gain by doing good, nor anything to lose by the opposite, since they are free of I-making, lord. 34How much less for him who rules all that lives, beasts and mortals and sky-dwellers, and rules those who are ruled: what has he to do with good deeds or bad?
35Even sages, filled by serving the pollen of his lotus feet, all their bonds of action shaken off by the power of yoga, go where they please and are not tied. How then any bond for him, who takes a body because he wishes to?
