6Coming to his senses, he got up again in rage, opened his mouth and fell on Hari at speed; and Hari, smiling, put his left arm into that mouth as a snake goes into its hole. 7The teeth of Kesi that touched the Bhagavan's arm fell out, as if they had touched heated iron; and the arm of the great one, gone inside his body, swelled as an illness swells when it is let alone. 8With Krsna's arm growing in him his breath was stopped; he kicked his legs out, his body ran with sweat, his eyes turned back, and he fell to the ground and let go his dung and had no life left. 9The great-armed one drew his arm out of that lifeless body, which was like a cucumber, and was not amazed at having killed his enemy with no effort; and the dwellers in heaven, smiling in wonder, praised him with showers of flowers.
