8Asked by the Bhagavan, the Madhava told it all: the long-held enmity against the Yadus, the attempt on Vasudeva's life, 9and what the message was, and for what the messenger himself had been sent, and what Narada had told him about his own birth from Anakadundubhi. 10Hearing Akrura's words, Krsna and Bala, who kills the heroes of the other side, laughed, and told Nanda their father what the king had ordered. 11And he in turn gave the cowherds their orders: let all the milk be gathered up, take the gifts, and let the carts be yoked. 12We go tomorrow to Mathura; we shall give the king our milk; we shall see a very great festival, and the country people are going, they say. So Nanda the cowherd had it called out by his herald through his own Gokula.
