And the Bhagavan, king, with Rama and Akrura, came in the chariot at the speed of wind to the Kalindi, who destroys sin. There he touched the water and drank of it, sweet and shining like a jewel, and going up to a stand of trees he got into the chariot with Rama. Akrura asked leave of the two and seated them on the chariot, and came to a deep pool of the Kalindi and bathed in the proper way. Diving into that water and murmuring the everlasting Brahman, Akrura saw those very two, Rama and Krsna, there together. How are these two here, the sons of Anakadundubhi, when they are sitting on the chariot? Then are they not on the chariot? So he came up and looked.

And there too they were seated as before. He went down again: is this seeing of the two of them in the water a false thing?
