While the people were talking like this and the drums were sounding, Canura spoke to Krsna and Rama and said: You, son of Nanda, and you, Rama: brave men think well of you. The king heard you were skilled in wrestling and has called you, wanting to see it. Subjects who do what the king likes, in mind and act and word, find their good; those who do the opposite find the reverse of it. The cowherds are always glad, and so are the calf-herds; it is plain enough. They graze the cattle in the woods and play at wrestling as they go. So let you and us alike do what the king likes, sirs. Then all beings will be pleased with us, for the king is made of all beings.
