Krsna, Krsna, great yogin, self of all, you who bring the world into being: I have come to you for shelter. Protect me, Govinda, and my children with me, for we are going under. I see no other shelter for men than your lotus foot, for men afraid of death and of the round of birth: the foot of the Lord, which gives release. Homage to Krsna, the pure, to Brahman, to the supreme Self, to the lord of yoga, to yoga itself. I have come to you for shelter. Remembering her own people in this way, and Krsna, the lord of the world, your great-grandmother wept, king, in her unhappiness.
