26Lord of giving, you speak such good words that I am not filled by them, as a mortal is not filled who has come by the nectar of the deathless. 27Even so, gentle one, true words do not stay in a heart that shakes, made uneven by love of sons, any more than a flash of lightning stays. 28What man can shake the Lord's ordinance and make it otherwise, the Lord who has come down into the family of Yadu to take the burden off the earth? 29He who by his own maya, whose ways are hard to make out, has made this, and having entered it deals out the strands: to him homage, to the supreme Lord, whose course is the turning wheel of birth, an order of play that is hard to understand.
30Having so taken the king's mind, that man of the Yadus, with leave from his friends, went back to the city of the Yadus. 31He told Rama and Krsna what Dhrtarastra had been doing toward the Pandavas, Kaurava, which was the very thing he had been sent for.
