Verse 20

¹⁷At that a shaking of terror went through the hearts of the enemy troops. And the Magadha king, seeing the two of them, said: Krsna, you lowest of men! ¹⁸I do not want to fight you, a boy, and alone; it would shame me. And you keep yourself hidden, fool, so I will not fight you. Go, you killer of your own kin. ¹⁹Rama, if you have the heart for it, fight, and hold your nerve. Or leave your body cut up by my arrows and go to heaven. Or else kill me. ²⁰Bhagavan said: Brave men do not boast; they simply show what they are made of. We do not take the words of a man in distress, king, and about to die.
