10The Bhagavan came back from there to the city with his wife and his elder brother, and set about killing Satadhanvan and taking the jewel from him. 11And he, knowing the attempt was under way, was afraid, and wanting to hold on to his life he asked Krtavarman for help. And Krtavarman said: 12I would not slight those two Lords, Rama and Krsna. Who could come to any safety by working harm on them? 13Kamsa went down with his followers for hating them, and was made to let go of his fortune, and Jarasandha came away from seventeen battles without a chariot.
