Bharata, while his kinsmen went on without sight of Aniruddha and grieved for him, the four months of the rains went by. Hearing from Narada the news of him, how he had been bound and what he had done, the Vrsnis, whose god is Krsna, set out for the city of Sonita. Pradyumna and Yuyudhana, Gada, Samba, and then Sarana; Nanda, Upananda, Bhadra and the rest, all of them followers of Rama and Krsna; gathered with twelve divisions from every quarter, those bulls of the Satvatas shut in Bana's city on every side. Watching the gardens and walls and watchtowers and gateways of his city being broken down, he was taken over by rage and came out with an army as large.
