When he had played his fill and came up out of the water, Kanti gave him two dark garments, ornaments of great worth, and a lovely garland. Having put on the two blue garments and hung the golden garland about him, he shone, well ornamented and anointed, like the elephant of great Indra. Even today, king, the Yamuna is seen with her course dragged aside, as though she were pointing to the strength of Bala, whose strength has no end. So all the nights went by for him as if they were a single one, as he took his pleasure in Vraja with his mind carried off by the sweetness of the women of Vraja.
