1So King Yudhisthira, hearing of the killing of Jarasandha and of that power of the mighty Krsna, was glad, and said to him: 2All those who are the teachers of the three worlds, all the great lords of the world, take your command, which is hard to come by, and carry it on their heads. 3And you, lotus-eyed one, take orders from wretched men who think themselves lords. Vast one, that is mockery through and through. 4For the fire of the one Brahman, who has no second, the supreme Self, is not made greater by deeds and is not made less, any more than the sun's is. 5Madhava, Unconquered one, in those devoted to you there is no such divided mind as this is mine, this is I, this is yours, this is you, a mind that comes of change, the mind beasts have.
6Having said this, the son of Prtha, at the hour fit for sacrifice and with Krsna's consent, chose fit priests, brahmins who speak of Brahman.
