26Salva's minister, Dyuman by name, whom Pradyumna had hurt before, came at him, struck him with a murva mace, and roared, for he was strong. 27Pradyumna, tamer of enemies, his chest broken open by that mace, was carried out of the fighting by his driver, the son of Daruka, who knew dharma. 28In a short while the son of Krsna came to his senses, and he said to his charioteer: Driver, this is a bad thing, that I should be drawn back out of the fight. 29No man born in the line of the Yadus is heard of as having fallen away from a battle, except me, who have come by this stain through a driver with a coward's mind.
