Verse 19
Brave men do not talk much· Verses 19–22
श्रीभगवानुवाच ।वृथा त्वं कत्थसे मन्द न पश्यस्यन्तिकेऽन्तकम् ।पौरुषं दर्शयन्ति स्म शूरा न बहुभाषिणः

19Bhagavan said: You boast for nothing, dull man. You do not see your own end standing beside you. Brave men show what they can do; they do not talk much. 20So saying, the Bhagavan in his anger struck Salva at the collarbone with his mace, which came with terrible speed. Salva shook and threw up blood. 21When the mace was drawn back Salva vanished. A little while later a man came, bowed his head to the Unfallen, said that Devaki had sent him, and spoke weeping: 22Krsna, Krsna, great-armed one, you who are tender to your father: Salva has bound your father and led him away, the way a butcher leads a beast.
