17There he found Agastya seated, and bowed to him and greeted him, and was given blessings by him; and taking his leave he went to the southern sea, and there he saw the goddess Durga who is called Kanya. 18Then he reached Phalguna, and Pancapsarasa the best of them, where Visnu is present. He bathed there and gave away ten thousand cows. 19Then the Bhagavan went on through the Kerala country and the Trigartas, to the field of Siva called Gokarna, where the one with the heavy matted hair is present, 20and having seen the noble Dvaipayani, Bala went to Surparaka; and he touched the water of the Tapi, the Payosni and the Nirvindhya, and then the Dandaka forest.
21He went into it and came to the Reva, where the city of Mahismati stands, and having touched the water at Manutirtha he came back once more to Prabhasa.
