Ah, lord of the Bhojas, of all men here it is you who have made something of your birth, since you see Krsna again and again, whom even yogins find hard to see. His fame, which the sacred word praises, makes this world wholly clean, and so does the water that washes his feet, and so does his word, which is the teaching. And the earth, though time has parched her good fortune, rains everything we want upon us, by the power that rises in her from the touch of his lotus feet. And in whose houses Visnu himself, in whom heaven and release both come to a stop, has taken up a bond of seeing and touching and walking beside you and talking with you, of shared bed and seat and food, of marriage and of common ancestors, though you go on a road that runs to hell.
