Having shown the cowherd women that kindness, the Bhagavan, who is their teacher and the way they go, then asked Yudhisthira and all his friends whether all was well with them. Asked in this way by the lord of the world, and well honoured by him, they answered with glad minds, their wrongdoing struck away by the sight of his feet. Master, where could anything but good come from, for those who drink their fill through the cups of their ears of the liquor of your lotus feet, poured now and then out of the minds and mouths of great men, which cuts away in those who carry bodies the forgetting of the one who made the body?

Indeed, by the light of your own self the three states the self makes are shaken off in you. You are the flooding of bliss, unbroken, your knowing never dulled. To guard the sacred word, which time had come against, you took on a form made by yogamaya. Goal of the highest swans, we bow to you. So, while the people were praising him, the crest jewel of all whose renown is highest, the women of the Andhakas and the Kauravas came together and told one another accounts of Govinda that are sung in the three worlds. Listen, and I will tell them to you.
