Verse 49

⁴⁶For I am the beginning and the end of all beings, and what is inside them and outside, as space and water and earth and air and fire are of everything made of the elements, women. ⁴⁷So these beings are in beings, and the self is spread through them as the self. Both of them are in me, in the imperishable that is beyond. See that they shine there. ⁴⁸Taught in this way by Krsna, with a teaching about the inmost self, the cowherd women had the shells of their separate living broken open by holding him in mind, and reached him. ⁴⁹And they said: Lotus-navelled one, your lotus feet, which the lords of yoga hold in their hearts, men whose understanding has no bottom, are the handhold by which those fallen into the well of the round of birth climb out. May they rise always in the minds of us too, who keep to our houses.
