Urged so by their mother, Rama and Krsna, descendant of Bharata, took up yogamaya and entered Sutala. When they had entered there, the king of the Daityas knew them for the self of the world, the god of gods, and much more his own; and, his heart flooded with the gladness of seeing them, he rose at once and bowed with all his people. Bringing them a fine seat, and the two great ones having gladly sat down on it, he washed their feet and carried that water on his head with all his company, water that makes clean as far as Brahma. He honoured them with all he had: with costly cloth and ornaments and ointments, with betel, with lamps, with food that is deathless and the rest, and by giving over his family, his wealth and himself.

That Indrasena, holding the Bhagavan's lotus feet again and again, his mind broken open by love, spoke, king, his eyes brimming with the water of joy, the hair standing up on him, his syllables faltering.
