You are the self of all beings, the witness, seen by your own light, one who is everywhere. And now you have come into the sight of us who remember your lotus foot. To make that word of yours come true you have come within our seeing, since you said that neither the Endless nor Sri nor the unborn is as dear to you as those who are devoted to you and to no other. What man, knowing this, would let go your lotus foot, you who give your own self to sages who have nothing and are at peace? You who, having come down in the line of Yadu, spread abroad, for the quieting of men who go round here from birth to birth, a fame that carries off the wrong of the three worlds.

Salutation to you, the Bhagavan, Krsna, whose wit is never blunted; to Narayana the sage, who has gone into an austerity that is deep peace. Stay some days in our house, vast one, together with the brahmins, and with the dust of your feet make this family of Nimi clean. Invited so by the king, the Bhagavan, by whom the worlds come to be, stayed on, doing what was good for the men and the women of Mithila.
