14Be victorious, be victorious; strike down the unborn one whose strands are seized by fault, Unconquered one, for you are he in whom every splendour is shut up within your own self. You who wake all the powers of those who dwell among things that move and things that do not: the teaching may follow after you, who go about now by the unborn one and now by yourself. 15They make out this vast thing, grasped as what is left over, from which come the rising and the setting of what is altered, as they come in clay from what is not altered. So the sages have laid their mind and their speech and their doing on you. How should the steps men set down on the earth go wrong?
16So the wise, lord of the three, having gone down into the deathless sea of the telling of you, which wipes out the stain of all the worlds, have given up their austerities. How much more those in whom your own light has shaken off the store and time and the strands, supreme one, who take up that place where happiness is felt without a break. 17Those that carry breath breathe like bellows, if they are not made subject to you. The great principle and I-making and the rest made the egg by your favour. The thread that runs here in the shape of the Person is the last among the things made of food and the rest. You are beyond what is and what is not, and you are the real that is left over in them.
18Some, of coarse sight, worship the belly on the paths of the sages; the Arunis worship the heart, the small space, the track from which the channels run out. From there, Endless one, your abode rose up to the head, the highest; and reaching it here, men do not fall again into the mouth of the ender.
