48Victory to him who is the dwelling of all people, of whom it is said he was born of Devaki; who has the best of the Yadus for his court, and with his own arms casts out wrongdoing; who kills the crookedness of what stands and what moves; who with his lovely smiling face makes desire grow in the women of Vraja and of the city. 49So one who wants to follow at his feet should hear the deeds of that supreme one, best of the Yadus, who took on a body of play for the guarding of his own path: deeds that mock in the way that body fits, deeds that wear a man's works away. 50By hearing and singing and thinking on the glorious tellings of Mukunda, growing at every turn, a mortal goes to that home of his, where there is release from the rush of the ender which is hard to cross: the home for whose sake even kings of the earth have gone from the village to the forest.
