43Those Daityas, very cruel, who had been killed in the battle of the gods and the antigods, were born again among men, and being proud they harassed the people. 44To put them down, the gods were told by Hari, and they came down in the family of Yadu, a hundred families of them and one more, king. 45Among them the Bhagavan Hari was the measure, by his lordship, and all the Yadavas who followed him grew great. 46In lying down and sitting, in walking about and talking, in play and in bathing and the rest, the Vrsnis, whose thought was Krsna, did not know their own selves to be there. 47King, he who was born among the Yadus made the ford lesser, the river of heaven that is the washing of his feet; those who hated him and those who loved him went to his own form; Sri, whose highest is the Unconquered, for whose sake another's striving goes on; whose name, heard or spoken, kills what is inauspicious; by whom the duties of the family lines were set going. In Krsna this is no wonder, who takes away the earth's burden, whose weapon is the wheel of time.
